MATERIAL FOR ORDINARY-TEMPERATURE-DRYING SOLVENT-BASED CLEAR COATING, COATING OBTAINED USING THE SAME AND COATING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for an ordinary-temperature-drying solvent-based clear coating that is excellent in scratch resistance and chipping resistance and exhibits other performances required for a coating such as adhesion of the same level as those of conventional ordinary-temperature-drying lacquer, a coating obtained by using the same and a coating film. SOLUTION: The material for the ordinary-temperature-drying solvent-based clear coating comprises a lipophilic polyrotaxane that comprises a ring molecule, a linear molecule and blocking groups, where the linear molecule and the cyclic molecule are lipophilic. The amount of the included ring molecule is 0.06-0.61. The molecular weight of the linear molecule is 1,000-50,000. The ordinary-temperature-drying solvent-based clear coating is obtained by using the material for the ordinary-temperature-drying solvent-based clear coating. The solvent-based clear coating film is obtained by solidifying the ordinary-temperature-drying solvent-based clear coating.
