PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath preparation composition high in emulsification stability, with no occurrence of oil scum floating even after additional heating of bath water, giving the skin sufficient moist feeling even after bathing, and excellent in fragrance stability with time. SOLUTION: The bath preparation comprises (a) 0.1-40 wt.% of a polyoxyalkylene polyol isostearate of the formula(I):Z-äO[(EO)<SB>m</SB>(PO)<SB>n</SB>]-R}<SB>a</SB>( wherein, Z is a dehydroxylated≥5C hydrocarbon residue having≥5 hydroxy groups and (a) is≥5; EO is an oxyethylene group; PO is an oxypropylene group; R is H or an isostearic acid residue, being 15-85% in esterification degree; and m and n are the average addition numbers of moles of oxyethylene groups and oxypropylene groups respectively, meeting the relationships:1≤(m+n)≤20 and m/(m+n)≥0.8 ), (b) 20-95 wt.% of an oily component and (c) 0.0001-30 wt.% of a moisturizing component.
