FIELD: analog or digitized signals, possible use in devices for communication, receiving, recording, reproduction, transformation, encoding and compression of signals, and in speech codecs, for example in IP-telephony and in mobile communications to increase traffic capacity of channel with preservation of quality of the signal being transmitted. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, from the signal, without taking its complexity and randomness into consideration, all sections of amplitude drop between its measured maximal and minimal values are excluded and replaced with service information about values of time intervals of these sections. ^ EFFECT: possible transformation of any signal for which advance encoding and/or compression are possible without loss of quality, with possible later application of all known methods of transformation and/or encoding; also, the method does not affect the quality of signal, and representation of the signal in its naturally discrete form opens new possibilities for later processing. ^ 3 dwg |
