Connector with inner and outer housings

A connector housing (H) is provided with cavities (C) into which male terminal fittings ( 10 ) are insertable from behind. The connector housing (H) is divided into an inner housing ( 20 ) and an outer housing ( 50 ) into which the inner housing ( 20 ) is mountable from front. The outer housing ( 50 ) is provided with a receiving portion ( 59 ) engageable with a lock ( 35 ) in the inner housing ( 20 ) to hold undetachably the inner housing ( 20 ). A locking surface ( 59 a) of the receiving portion ( 59 ) engageable with the lock ( 35 ) is exposed backward to outside through the cavity (C).
