PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rice cooker providing a simple, intelligible and highly usable operation when executing a reservation rice cooking. SOLUTION: This rice cooker includes: a reservation key 12, or a reservation time setting mode changeover means; a reservation time setting dial 14, or a reservation time setting means for setting a reservation time; an electric wave receiving means 306 receiving a present time information with electric waves; and a control means 9. This rice cooker allows the timer-control key 12, or the reservation time setting mode changeover means, to change to a reservation time setting mode; allows the reservation time setting dial 14, or the reservation time setting means, to set a reservation time; and allows the control means 9 to compare the present time information received by the electric wave receiving means 306 with the reservation time set by the reservation time setting dial 14 and controlling to finish or start the cooking at the preset time.
