PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top board supporting structure in a table, which is capable of stably supporting a top board and improving the strength of the top board by enhancing the connecting state between the top board and a support rod. SOLUTION: The table is so formed that the lower surface of an intermediate part in the right/left direction of the top board is supported by a support bracket 10 fixed to the upper part of the support rod 6 disposed in the vertical direction, the support bracket 10 is formed of a planar horizontal piece 11 facing in the front/rear direction, suspension pieces 12 continuously provided downward from the side edges of the horizonal piece 11, and locking pieces 13 continuously provided inward from the rear ends of the suspension pieces 12, and the locking pieces 13 are made to abut on the rear edges 9b of locking grooves 9 provided in the side faces of the support rod 6 along the vertical direction so as to be attached, while the rear part of the horizontal piece 11 is mounted on the upper end face of the support rod 6.
