At a beamformer with at least two acoustical/electrical converters (M<SUB>1</SUB>, M<SUB>2</SUB>) the outputs (A<SUB>1</SUB>, A<SUB>2</SUB>) thereof are operationally connected to a beamformer unit ( 12 ). There signals dependent on signals (S<SUB>1</SUB>, S<SUB>2</SUB>) arising at said outputs (A<SUB>1</SUB>, A<SUB>2</SUB>) are co-processed to result in a beamformer output signal (S<SUB>a</SUB>) dependent on both output signals of the converters. Frequency roll-off of the output signal (S<SUB>a</SUB>) is counteracted by establishing a gain mismatch ( 10 ) of the two gains between the acoustical input signal (A) on one hand and the inputs to unit 12. |
