Novelty is that in order to reduce differential dissipation sigmad of electrical-machine m' = six-band fractional-pitch (q = 16/5) lap winding, coil group 1G out of first-grouping coil groups 1G through 5G has turn numbers (1 - x)wc in first and fourth coils and coil groups 3G, 4G have turn numbers (1 + x)wc in intermediate coil at wc turns in remaining coil groups and at turn number 2wc in each slot.
