A film of an aromatic-polyether-type ion- conductive polymer which has improved mechanical strength. The aromatic- polyether-type ion-conductive ultrahigh polymer is characterized by having an ion exchange capacity of 0.1 meq/g or higher and having a structure comprising an aromatic-polyether-type ultrahigh polymer and an acid group introduced therein, the aromatic-polyether-type ultrahigh polymer having at least one kind of structural units selected among ones represented by the following formulae (1) and (2) and the sum of the number of the structural units represented by the formula (1), a, and the number of the structural units represented by the formula (2), b, being 2 or larger.
