The invention relates to an external mirror module for a vehicle comprising a heatable mirror glass component (10) which comprises at least one mirror glass (11) and at least one flexible, single-layered heating film (20) which is arranged in the rear side of the mirror glass and provided with electric connection points (35). At least one illuminating means (60) and at least one additional electric connection point (38) are arranged on or integrated into the heating film (20). Said contacting, conducting conductive strips (31, 32, 33) are arranged on or integrated into the heating film (20) between the illuminating means(s) (60) and the other electric connection point(s) (38). Each illuminating means (60) has at least one main light discharge surface (61, 63) and the centre of gravity of the surface is located in front of the rear side of the mirror glass (11). An external mirror glass module for a vehicle is produced according to said invention, wherein a mirror heater and at least one illuminating means are integrated and connected such that they can be mounted in a simple and secure manner with low cabling costs.
