[PROBLEMS] To provide an optical path change type optical coupling element capable of being used in two ways and minimizing the number of parts. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A resin molding has two mutually orthogonal surfaces (front surface (15), lower surface (19)), and a total reflection surface (23) forming an angle of substantially 45° with the two surfaces. One surface is integrally formed with a plurality of collimate lenses (16) and a spacer (17), and the other surface is also integrally formed with a plurality of collimate lenses (20) and a spacer (21). Between the two surfaces, a relief (26) is recessed so as to be positioned on the backside of the total reflection surface (23). Further, the two surfaces of the resin molding are formed with guide holes (18, 22) for insertion of guide pins for connection to an optical connector or the like. |
