A method of manufacturing food additives rich in alkali components by mixing concentrated solutions of sea salt, potassium chloride and water with concentrated alkaline water is provided. The method produces food additives useful as a salt substitute at low costs within a short time. First, 40 to 80% by weight of sea salt and 20 to 60% by weight of potassium chloride are mixed with water, filtered with a filtering material containing activated carbon, fine charcoal or charcoal, aged with charcoal for 5 to 30 days, filtered with a filter membrane and heated at 30 to 170deg.C to obtain raw material for food additives. Second, electrolyzed alkaline water is filtered with a filtering material containing activated carbon, fine charcoal or charcoal followed by a filter membrane, heated with charcoal at 30 to 50deg.C until the volume is reduced by less than 8/10 and filtered with a filter membrane to obtain concentrated alkaline water. Finally, the raw material for food additives is heated at 30 to 170deg.C while stirring and sprayed with the concentrated alkaline water. |
