SHEET FOR FORMING PROTECTIVE LAYER OF OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THOSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for forming a protective layer provided with an uncured protective layer having a low curing shrinkage ratio and a high shape retaining property and its manufacturing method and to provide an optical recording medium wherein the protective layer having high thickness accuracy is formed on an information recording layer via no adhesive layer and which has small warpage and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The sheet 1 for forming the protective layer consists of the uncured protective layer 11 and two base materials 12 and 12' holding the uncured protective layer 11. The uncured protective layer 11 is constituted of a composition containing 20 to 90 wt.% energy ray curing polymer and 10 to 80 wt.% polymer having no energy ray curing property and capable of forming the protective layer of the optical recording medium. The uncured protective layer 11 is press-fixed to the information recording layer (half-transmission reflection layer 3') and cured by irradiation with an energy ray to form the protective layer 11'.
