METHOD FOR LOCALLY REINFORCING METALLIC STRUCTURE OF SHEET METAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for locally reinforcing the metallic structure of a sheet metal.

SOLUTION: A weld bead type metallic projection (9) consisting of a material having mechanical properties more excellent than a material with which the metallic structure of the sheet metal is constituted is formed in a region (4) where must be reinforced on at least one face of the metallic structure of the sheet metal. The material of the projection is the same kind of metal as the material with which the metallic structure of the sheet metal is constituted.
