摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mode transition control device for a hybrid car capable of achieving smooth mode transition by preventing omission of driving force in the transition from a first traveling mode for connecting a brake and a second traveling mode for disconnecting the brake. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid car applying an engine and at least one motor as its power source and comprising a driving force synthesizing transition having a differential device constituted by connecting a motor and the brake with a rotating element, a mode transition control means is mounted to disconnect the brake after the output torque of the motor reaches a target torque in the mode transition from the first traveling mode for connecting the brake to the second traveling mode for disconnecting the brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
