<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED outgoing a light having uniform colors as a whole by a simple configuration, even if an LED chip is not arranged in the center of a chip substrate. <P>SOLUTION: An LED 10 comprises a pair of electrode members 11c, 11d; an LED chip 12 which is joined on a chip package 11a provided at a tip of one electrode member, and is electrically connected with both electrode members; and a transparent resin 13 mixing a wavelength transformation material 13a formed so as to surround this LED chip 12. The LED 10 is so constituted that the LED chip 12 may be arranged inclining toward one side in the transparent resin portion 13, and the wavelength transformation material 13a mixed with the transparent resin portion 13 may have higher richness in peripheral regions of the LED chip 12 in the transparent resin 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
