<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple area measuring method for a damage area in a farm field capable of reducing the installation number of markers installed as reference points in the farm field, by using two reference coordinates of the markers installed in the farm field, of which the positional relation is known, and by using a photographed image data. <P>SOLUTION: This area measuring method for the damage area in the farm field comprises a process for photographing a photographing range including the damage area in the farm field, from a diagonal upper side by a camera; a process for obtaining an ortho image from the photographed image by inverse perspective conversion; and a process for finding the area of the damage area on the ortho image, based on the number of picture elements photoreceiving information of the damage area and a corresponding area of the picture elements. In the simple area measuring method for the damage area in the farm field, the installation number of the markers installed as the reference points in the farm field are reduced by acquiring the image installed with the two markers, and by finding a coordinate data required for the inverse perspective conversion from the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
