PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in yield due to static electricity when an active matrix substrate of a gate both side input system is manufactured. SOLUTION: The active matrix substrate is provided with: a plurality of gate lines 1 formed in a gate layer and extended to be parallel to each other; a plurality of source lines 2 formed in a source layer provided on the gate layer via a gate insulating film 8 and extended to be parallel to each other in a direction crossing the gate lines 1; a plurality of gate drawn-out lines 1b disposed in both side regions of the plurality of source lines 2, formed in the gate layer and drawn out from one end parts of respective gate lines 1; a plurality of source drawn-out lines 2b formed in the source layer and drawn out from the respective source lines 2; and a plurality of capacitance lines 3 formed in the gate layer and disposed between respective gate lines 1. One end parts of respective capacitance lines 3 adjacent to each other are connected to each other by connection parts 3c formed in the gate layer and drawn out by capacitance drawn-out lines 3b.
