BRAIN FUNCTION DETECTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain function detecting apparatus which enables the distal end parts of all electrodes to reliably make contact with scalps of different subjects by adapting to individual differences of heads of the subjects for detecting a state of a brain function with accuracy.

SOLUTION: The brain function detecting apparatus is equipped with a caplike body 2 of the device placed on the head B of the subject A and a plurality of electrodes 3 which are attached to the body 2 by being spaced out mutually and are disposed to make contact with the scalp C for detecting electroencephalogram signals. The body 2 is equipped with a plurality of holder pieces 4a-4c for attaching at least one electrode 3, curving belts 5 for connecting the holder pieces 4a-4c, and a means 5a for adjusting between holder pieces for adjusting a distance between the holder pieces 4a-4c.
