PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deflection by inner pressure reaction force during vulcanization in a tire vulcanizing mold. SOLUTION: A tire vulcanizing apparatus has at least two segments 1 forming the tread part of a tire, upper and lower side molds 2 and 3 forming a part ranging from a pair of side wall parts to the bead part of the tire, an outer ring 4 which is slid/engaged by a tapered surface on the peripheral side of the segments 1, a top plate 7 holding the upper surface side of the upper side mold 2, and a bottom plate 6 arranged on the lower surface side of the lower side mold 3. The outer ring 4 is fixed to a prescribed installation surface D of the vulcanization apparatus, the other constituent members are floated, and the top plate 7 is mounted on the segments 1 while the mold is closed.
