COMPUTING PROGRAM FOR SIMULTANEOUS LINEAR EQUATIONS, COMPUTING APPARATUS FOR SIMULTANEOUS LINEAR EQUATIONS, AND SOLUTION METHOD OF SIMULTANEOUS LINEAR EQUATIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an analyzer to solve simultaneous linear equations of a huge size with a general multiple diagonal matrix as a coefficient matrix at high speed by following a predetermined procedure. SOLUTION: Simultaneous linear equations having a block tridiagonal matrix as a coefficient matrix is input (S100). Processes of division and compression are recursively repeated (S150-S200) up to an upper limit value of the division frequency determined by size of a block square matrix, with respect to a block tridiagonal matrix expression generated based on the block tridiagonal matrix with a 4×4 block square matrix as a unit. The solution of the simultaneous linear equations is found by inversely tracing these processes (S210-S240). The inverse matrix of the block square matrix is calculated by use of a prescribed algebraic relational expression (S140). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
