PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for eliminating disorder of regularity of the polarities of a data signal which is possibly caused by a liquid crystal display device which drives a display panel by (n)-dot driving by using a plurality of source drivers. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes the display panel (3) having a 1st area (4<SB>1</SB>) and a 2nd area (4<SB>2</SB>) adjacent to the 1st area (4<SB>1</SB>), a 1st source driver (21) which supplies a data signal to a plurality of data lines positioned in the 1st area (4<SB>1</SB>) of the display panel (3) respectively, and a 2nd source driver (2<SB>2</SB>) which supplies a data signal to a plurality of data lines positioned in the 2nd area (4<SB>2</SB>) of the display panel (3) respectively. This liquid crystal display device is configured so as to be able to individually control the polarity pattern of the data signal outputted from the 1st source driver (2<SB>1</SB>) and the polarity pattern of the data signal outputted from the 2nd source driver (2<SB>2</SB>).
