PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase proof stress against tensile force actuating on a coated optical fiber. SOLUTION: This optical connector ferrule 21 is a ferrule with a system for positioning a fitting pin. The ferrule is equipped with a hollow part 2 which is open to the rear end for the purpose of inserting coated optical fibers, a plurality of optical fiber holes 4 which are made in a row on the tip end face 3 and, in the middle, an adhesive charging hole 6 which is open on top with an optical fiber guide groove 5 provided on the bottom. Then, between the adhesive charging hole 6 and the tip end face 3, there is formed a recess 23 which is open on top for the purpose of exposing optical fibers 12a inserted in the optical fiber holes 4.
