PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector apparatus which can simply secure the contrast in the projected image. SOLUTION: The aperture plate 33 has a light shading plane 33a displaced from the optical axis O of the projector lens device 7 to the side to which the DMD reflects the off-light, and an opening 33b corresponding to the reflecting position of the on-light to the projector lens device 7. The on-light contributing to form a projected image effectively passes the opening 33b, and the other light originally not contributing to forming a projected image reflected on the DMD is shaded by the shading plane 33a without fail.
