PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a box culvert inexpensively constructible in a short construction period, even if there is no sufficient time up to starting work from ordering of a concrete secondary product, and even if there is no sufficient time up to completion from starting of the work, when constructing the box culvert having a long distance. SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical concrete secondary products 1 are arranged at a proper interval in the longitudinal direction of the box culvert to be constructed. A joint reinforcement 6 is screwed in insert hardware 5 embedded in a joining end surface S of the concrete secondary products 1. A cylindrical structure 2 joined with the concrete secondary products 1 is constructed between these concrete secondary products 1 by cast-in-place of concrete. The box culvert A is constructed by the concrete secondary products 1 and the cylindrical structure 2 by the cast-in-place concrete. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
