PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric for covering an article applicable to the article such as a beverage container having a screw type cap and having excellent turning operation efficiency of the cap. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric for covering the article such as a can is provided with an antislip means in a part contacting the article in the nonwoven fabric. In the nonwoven fabric for covering the article such as the can, the nonwoven fabric is formed of a thermoplastic polymer and an antislip resin particulate material is dispersed in at least the part contacting the article in the nonwoven fabric. In the nonwoven fabric for covering the article such as the can, the nonwoven fabric is formed of the thermoplastic polymer and an antislip resin part is formed in at least the part contacting the article in the nonwoven fabric.
