PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man-machine work system by which an operating area of a device and that of a human can be clearly set, and the device and the human can efficiently advance work together in a common area without restricting the motion of the human by that of the device. SOLUTION: The device 1, which executes work such as transportation, mounting, and machining of a component 3, and a worker 5 coexist in a working area in the man-machine work system. The operating area 11 of the device 1 is set along the posture of an arm 10 of the device. The operating area 11 of the device 1 is divided into a warning area 12, where the device 1 executes normal operation, a decelerated operating area 13, where the device 1 executes work in a decelerated state, and a stop area 14 where the device 1 is temporarily stopped.
