PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat restraining tub and an electric kettle having an energy saving property which is high for a long period by improving the heat insulation material of an inner container. SOLUTION: By applying the vacuum insulation material 1 of small heat leakage through the outline of the insulation material to the heat restraining tub and the electric kettle, covering the periphery of a lid 7 and covering a direction lower than the inner container 2 further, a larger heat insulation effect is obtained while suppressing the heat leakage through the outline of the insulation material. Also, by providing a polyacrylic acid based resin layer adjacently to the vapor deposition layer of the outer bag of the vacuum insulation material 1, the temporal degradation of heat conductivity is reduced even when the vapor deposition layer is set as one layer and the heat leakage through the outline of the vacuum insulation material 1 is reduced further.
