<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp for increasing the force of holding a pipe while reducing the resistance of the pipe when inserted. <P>SOLUTION: From both ends of a damping part 68 integrally provided inside a holding part 40, tongue pieces 78 extend perpendicularly to the direction of inserting the pipe 14. The bases of the tongue pieces 78 abut on abutting faces 72 provided at the front ends of inclined pieces 66, 70, respectively, and the front ends of the tongue pieces 78 protrude from the inclined pieces 66, 70. Thus, when inserted/removed into/from the holding part 40, the pipe 14 receives variable resistance and so the pipe 14 is easy to insert and hard to remove.
