<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise without reducing image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A 2nd open/close door 18 comprises a 2nd open/close door main body 110, a sound absorption member 112, and a sound absorption member cover 114. The sound absorption member 112 covers about the whole surface of the guide member 20 side of the 2nd open/close door main body 110. The sound absorption member cover 114 is a cloth material which is dyed in black, anti-statically finished, and has gas permeability and is constituted to cover about the whole surface of the guide member 20 side of the sound absorption 112. Also, the sound absorption member cover 114 is dyed with a dye containing no carbon, and prevents fiber containing carbon from floating in the image forming apparatus while maintaining a light shielding effect in the image forming apparatus. The 2nd open/close door 18 is attached to the back of the guide member 20 so as to be located on the back side of a conveyance way 28 including the back side of a resist roll 31 and a conveyance roll 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
