<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress dispersion in battery performance, by suppressing dispersion of battery temperature produced due to dispersion of cooling during formation, without prolonging the formation time in air-cooled type battery container formation of a lead-acid battery. <P>SOLUTION: In a battery container formation method of the lead-acid battery conducting the battery container formation, by passing electricity through batteries 101 of a battery line 103 on a support stand, cooling air is supplied in the direction parallel to the battery line, a straightening vane 107 facing the battery side surface is installed between the battery side surface vertical to the battery line of the lead-acid batteries positioned at the uppermost stream part of the cooling air in the battery line and facing the cooling air and a blast means 106, and gaps are installed between the straightening vanes installed each battery line so as to correspond to ventilation intervals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
