UNUTILIZED RESOURCE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROCESSING UNUTILIZED RESOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unutilized resource processing system and a method of processing unutilized resources by which a resourcable gas is recovered in a high concentration from a gas generated by processing unutilized resources and effectively used as a fuel for hydrogen fuel cells and the like.

SOLUTION: The unutilized resource processing system 1 comprises melting furnace 2 in which unutilized resources such as biomass and refuse are turned into high temperature liquids by melting them at high temperatures and are eventually made harmless, a first gas compression means 3 to compress the gas generated in melting furnace 2 to a pressure higher than a predetermined pressure and a first PSA adsorption and separation means 4 by which the resourcable gas and the residual gas are separated and the highly concentrated resourcable gas are recovered by selectively adsorbing the residual gas other than the resourcable gas in the compressed gas and passing the resourcable gas with a concentration ratio of ≥95 volume%.
