<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately and easily detecting the mixing ratio of mixed developer in a developer container. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with the developer container 14C for storing one-component mixed developer composed by mixing two kinds of toner T<SB>L</SB>and T<SB>H</SB>whose hues are nearly the same, whose reflection density is different and either of which contains magnetic substance, a sensor 60C for detecting the magnetic permeability of the mixed developer in the developer container 14C, and a mixing ratio measuring means 74 for measuring the mixing ratio of two kinds of toner T<SB>L</SB>and T<SB>H</SB>in the developer container 14C on the basis of the magnetic permeability of the mixed developer detected by the sensor 60C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
