METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image for developing an image on a sheet by using a two-component developer comprising toner and carrier, wherein a toner deposition amount in a unit area of a line image is appropriately controlled compared to a toner deposition amount in a solid image.

SOLUTION: The developer used shows the following properties: that when the relation between a charge amount Q/M per unit weight of a toner and the toner concentration Tc (%) representing a weight proportion of the toner in the developer is represented by an expression with numerical values A and B, the absolute value Q/M of the toner is ≥15 μC/g at the toner concentration Tc satisfying B≤0.035 and B×Tc<0.54.
