<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus for suppressing increase of traffic accompanying re-transmission control. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus which distributes at least two kinds of frames inputted from a first network and having different priorities to buffer units comprised of a plurality of buffers for each priority and outputs the frames to a second network. This communication apparatus is characterized by comprising a packet generating unit for converting a frame outputted from the buffer unit into a packet of a fixed length, an interruption determination unit for counting packets of the fixed length with high priorities outputted from the packet generating unit and outputting an interrupt signal when the predetermined number of packets are counted, and a control unit to which the interrupt signal is inputted from the interruption determination unit and a plurality of packets of the fixed length outputted from the packet generating unit are inputted, and which outputs these packets to the second network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
