PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of more surely carrying out facsimile reception via an IP network with a simpler method compared with conventional technology. SOLUTION: A main control section 1 in a facsimile machine for carrying out facsimile communication by using facsimile communication procedure signals transmits a DIS signal (step S6) when the main control section 1 transmits an ANSam signal in the facsimile V.8 mode (in step S2) and thereafter detects no CM signal within a prescribed specified time (e.g., 3 seconds) (NO in step S3 and YES in step S5), and retransmits the DIS signal (step S6) after waiting for a prescribed specified time (e.g., 500 ms) when receiving the DIS signal after the transmission of the DIS signal (YES in step S7 and YES in step S10).
