NOISE BLANKER, RADIO DEVICE, AND METHOD OF ATTENUATING NOISE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform processing of attenuating noise without attenuating a signal more than necessary in performing the foregoing processing. SOLUTION: A digital input signal output from an A/D converter 23 for converting an analog signal into a digital signal is input into a noise blanker 10. Noise detection is performed per discrete value of an input signal subjected to discrete processing which is converted into a digital signal subjected to discrete processing by the A/D converter 23. The noise blanker 10 performs attenuating processing per discrete value of the input signal for which inclusion of noise is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
