PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for mounting capable of more easily and more surely improving accuracy in mounting electronic components onto a board. SOLUTION: This spacer for mounting comprises a spacer body 10 and legs 11, wherein the spacer body 10 comprises a shape surrounding an electronic component, excepting for a surface whereon a pin of the electronic component is derived, for grasping the electronic component to be mounted; and the legs 11 are formed integrally with the spacer body 10 for mounting and fixing the spacer body 10 onto the board while keeping a fixed attitude. Each of the legs 11 includes a pawl 12 coupled through a hole provided on the board onto the rear surface of the board by snap-fitting, and a stopper 13 which is abutted to a mounting surface of the board with snap-fit coupling of this pawl 12, for locking the spacer body 10 at a fixed height.
