PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an arrangement configuration of the breaking parts and the operating units of an electromagnetically operated circuit breaker to miniaturize the circuit breaker. SOLUTION: Three-phase vacuum bulbs 2A-2C (and insulation cases 3A-3C) are respectively arranged in parallel with one another (arranged in a line) at predetermined intervals. Electromagnetic operation units 4 are arranged on a floor surface 5B of phase-to-phase areas 3D so as to be parallel to the vacuum valves 2A-2C (and the insulation cases 3A-3C). In the arrangement configuration of the electromagnetic operation units 4 to the phase-to-phase areas 3D, the electromagnetic operation units 4 are so arranged as to be at least partially positioned in the phase-to-phase areas 3D (for instance, the insulation cases 3A-3C and the two electromagnetic operation units 4 are arranged alternately in a staggered manner).
