PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small coin processor capable of classifying coins according to kind, even if the speed at which the coins are conveyed is increased. SOLUTION: In the coin processor, a plurality of kinds of coins are classified and sent out one by one by a feeder, are delivered to a conveyor, and classified according to kind by a coin classifying part disposed on the conveyance path of the conveyor. The conveyance path has a first classifying part that extends linearly and approximately horizontally from the feeder and a second classifying part that extends subsequent to and in the opposite direction to the first classifying part, above the first classifying part. The conveyance path is in a U-form lying on it side as a whole. The most downstream portion of the second classifying part is disposed above the feeder, and a guide device is provided for guiding to the feeder the coins that reach the most downstream portion of the conveyance path.
