PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To learn user's taste while taking temporal change of user's taste into consideration. SOLUTION: When a content reproducing device 1 is operated by the user to reproduce contents, content information on the reproduced contents and operation information showing the reproducing operation are supplied to a predicting device 32. The predicting device 32 when supplied with the content information and operation information from the reproducing device 1 stores them in a user history DB as user history information showing a user's time-series viewing history of contents. The predicting device 32 generates prediction curves wherein temporary change of user's taste is predicted by the contents by using the user history information and supplies them to a recommendation part 33. The recommendation part 33 when supplied with a recommendation request from an operation part 2 supplies the contents having the highest taste among the prediction curves of the respective contents as recommended contents to a reproduction part 3.
