PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust circulation type vacuum cleaner which can smoothly perform cleaning work in a state that a suction nozzle is floated up from a surface to be cleaned by exhaust blown out from the suction nozzle and, moreover, carry out washing, sterilizing, rinsing and further drying in a process to move the suction nozzle back and forth in cleaning and, furthermore, recovery of dust, dirt, and soiled water. SOLUTION: This exhaust circulation type vacuum cleaner mainly comprises a body and a suction nozzle. The vacuum cleaner can clean a surface to be cleaned in a state that the nozzle is floated up from a surface to be cleaned by exhaust blown out through the suction nozzle. Further, the vacuum cleaner is preferably constituted so as to wash, clean, and sterilize a surface to be cleaned such as a floor face by blowing out any of washing water, washing liquid, hot water, vapor, etc. accompanied by air through the suction nozzle.
