FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to the microwave equipment and may be used in antenna feeder devices, as a dummy antenna or a termination in high power coaxial and strip microwave paths. The strip termination contains a strip conductor installed between absorbing plates placed on metallic bases. The strip conductor thickness increases from the termination input to the termination output. The strip conductor dimensions at the termination input have impedance equal to that of the input transmission line; and the strip conductor contacts the absorbing plates at the short-circuited or open end. The absorbing plates have the same constant thickness and are made of a material with high specific thermal conductivity. ^ EFFECT: expansion of operating frequency range and increase in mean power of microwave radiation. ^ 1 dwg |
