PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of lubrication performance caused by dissolution of carbon dioxide in a lubricating oil compound for a refrigerator and ensure sufficient lubricity in, in particular, high load. SOLUTION: Polyalkylene glycol to which hydroxylated fullerene is added is used as lubricating oil or additive. Consequently, hydroxylated fullerene is a spherical molecule which has the size of about 1 nm and whose skeleton is composed of carbon, but is uniformly dispersed in polyalkylene glycol having OH group and is supplied to a sliding part together with polyalkylene glycol to provide solid lubrication action in, in particular, the sliding part in partial contact with solid, prevent wear and seizure by its non-adhesion property and rolling action, and provide high lubricity by supplementing lubricity of polyalkylene glycol in high load.
