摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth-measuring arrangement capable of precisely measuring true azimuth with an arbitrary attitude. SOLUTION: A three-axis sensor body 10 comprises a two-axis sensor unit 18 for detecting an earth rotation angular speed componentω<SB>x</SB>around the X-axis and an earth gravitational acceleration component g<SB>z</SB>in the X-axis direction, and a one-axis sensor unit 20 for detecting an earth rotation angular speed componentω<SB>y</SB>in Y-axis rotation and an earth gravity acceleration component g<SB>z</SB>in the Y-axis direction. An azimuth angleψis calculated by Formula (1), based on rotational angular speeds (ω<SB>x</SB>,ω<SB>y</SB>,ω<SB>z</SB>) and gravity accelerations (g<SB>x</SB>, g<SB>y</SB>, g<SB>z</SB>) detected by sensor units 18, 20.
