PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing in which improvement of fishing yield is performed by making recognition of actual winding speed of a fishline possible. SOLUTION: The reel for fishing described in the claim 1 is equipped with a spool rotatably supported between side plates of a reel body, a winding speed-detecting means for detecting a winding speed at the time of winding operation of the fishline wound around the spool and a display device provided in the reel body and displaying a detected value of the winding speed-detecting means. In an invention described in the claim 2, the reel for fishing described in the claim 1 is equipped with a spool-driving motor installed in the reel body and carrying out winding driving of the spool and a motor output-regulating body installed so as to enable displacement operation in the reel body and regulating motor output of the spool-driving motor, and a motor output state corresponding to regulating amount of the motor output regulating body is displayed on the display device.
