The fuel injector (1) has high pressure inlet (2) and check valve (6) for injecting fuel under pressure through inlet line (3). There is a control line (9), a supply line (28) and feeder lines (15,34) arranged with assembly segments and a nozzle (14) and injector valve (13). The operating piston (33) and pressure intensifier (5) compress the fuel before injection. The return line (50) takes the excess fuel back.
