The shock absorbing device has a tilt able unit with cylindrical housing (1,1') which has both its ends (17) fixed at either side of device. The shaft (16) is tilt able around longitudinal axis (20) and works against the spring force. The rising of the shaft towards housing in axial direction with the formation of helical shaped surface (7), behaving like spring under tension, absorbs the shock.
