<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink which can be used even by a little ink drop amount to have a sufficiently large area factor, can provide a high image density, and is excellent in storage stability and bronzing resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The cyan ink comprises water, a water-insoluble dyestuff, and a plurality of water-soluble organic solvents containing a good solvent and a poor solvent for the water-insoluble dyestuff, and is applied for an ink set holding four kinds of, that is, cyan, magenta, yellow, and black water base inks, wherein the cyan ink has a B<SB>1</SB>/A<SB>1</SB>of within a specific scope which is a ratio of the good solvent and the poor solvent, the poor solvent being a water-soluble organic solvent having the maximum Ka value among a plurality of Ka values of the water-soluble organic solvents, and the B<SB>1</SB>/A<SB>1</SB>satisfying a specific relationship with a B/A which is a ratio of a good solvent to a poor solvent comprised in any other water-base ink than the cyan ink held in the ink set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
