<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator in which drainage performance of water at the portion of a diffusion layer depressed by a rib is improved without increasing contact electric resistance between the rib and the diffusion layer. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The fuel cell separator has grooves 40 and ribs 41, and the grooves constitute a gas passage and the ribs 41 comes in contact with a diffusion layer at the crestal plane, and in the fuel cell separator, the ribs 41 are made hollow and the hollow portion in the ribs is also made a gas passage, and the top wall 44 of the ribs is made a porous structure. (2) The separator 18 is constructed by pasting together a concavo-convex thin plate 18a and a flat thin plate 18b. (3) The separator 18 is a metal separator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
